This is a great place to take a date and has great Italian food. It is located in a strip center, but that can fool you.

The staff was fantastic! Their energy was amazing and they were so wonderful about the fact that we were having a board meeting. They also treated us to some wonderful desserts and made sure to celebrate a bday that we were also having in our group. The lighting was nice and relaxing. I would just add a little note that there were some areas that appeared to be kind of dusty in corners but really that didn't take away from the amazing service and food.

COME HERE!!!! The absolute best dining experience in Austin!!! Delicious food, amazing customer service and relaxing atmosphere. I cannot recommend this place enough!!! My mom and I came for an early dinner and there was only 1 other family there. I was shocked after tasting the food. Our server was soo nice and attentive which made our time amazing. The food is to die for! The bread was mouth watering. The salad was fresh and crispy. My sausage pasta was the best pasta dish I've ever had (I ate all of it and I usually never finish my plate). The restaurant itself is nothing special but the artwork is nice and quiet!! They also accept reservations. We had the best experience here and I can't wait to come back and try the other location.

Great restaurant, the food was a bit spicy for Italian food. But besides that service and quality was great. If we come back we will order everything but not the seafood plates.

Food: on point, service/atmosphere: lacking, overall it felt overpriced for what we got. I don't regret coming but probably won't be back. The good: the food! We ordered: -the free bread! This was definitely up to expectations: warm, swirled with pesto and cheese; it was a struggle to not eat all the bread before the rest of the food arrived. -the fennel salad: I didn't know what to expect but it was fun and different and tasty- slices of fennel stalk with walnuts, goat cheese, and a light zingy dressing. Would eat again. -the stuffed eggplant: pretty tasty and I really enjoyed the red sauce; I'm not the biggest eggplant fan but this was sliced very thinly and was not overwhelming. -the spring quail special: so fun and extremely tasty, the quail was boneless except for the drumsticks so it was easy to eat, felt very fancy, and the fig stuffing was just delicious. I don't think I would pay $42 again for it though- no sides or anything just 4 quail halves. -the orzo with cannellini beans: I thought this was pretty bland, I couldn't taste the brown butter sauce at all, but my husband liked it and said it was nice and light. -the chicken stuffed ravioli- very rich, I loved the lemon cream sauce, but compared to my husbands pasta dish it felt like a small portion. I get there is more work going into ravioli than the orzo dish but I was a little jealous of his portion lol. The mediocre: the ambiance- I saw several other reviews saying that the interior was super cute and had a nice vibe- I thought it was ok but when you are spending $160 on a dinner for two it did not give me the fine dining feel. The plastic looking 'fancy' ceiling tiles, the simple decor, the management meeting between the head chef and someone that was literally at the table behind us? Not fine dining. And then our server was... interesting. He was polite but he answered questions unhelpfully ("how many quail in the dish? I think its 2 or 3", "you can order them to come out at the same time, or at different times, whatever you want" we are looking for advice I know I can order them whenever I want...) and wasn't the most attentive, kept turning to walk away after we ordered one item when we were about to continue to order a second item. He brought out the wrong food to our table (turned out it was for the people at the managers meeting behind us lol). Just not fantastic service- especially for the price!

This is very nice restaurant in a strip mall. Very familiar ambiance and great service. Their servers are all extremely polite and helpful. They even have a sommelier and their selection of wines is very good. For starters we decided to share the potato Crostini and it was very good, but eat it right away, otherwise the potato will be no longer crispy. For mains, I went with the capesante which is a salmon wrapped scallop which arugula salad and raddish. It is very good. Just missed a bit of salt. My husband ordered the ravioli and he mentioned that it was very flavorful. For dessert we had the pana cota. It was sweet but not overly sweet. Just wish they had more of the sauce which was incredible and had a bit acidity to compliment the dish. The service was great, the food was very good, just wish the portion was a little bit bigger, but I guess that's what it is a trattoria.
